Tony finally got a chance to use his Christmas present, a Sushi mat and a book all about sushi, from my sister Julia who is in Japan teaching English with her husband Ben. We rounded up all the ingredients and Tony, the expert chef, made us wonderful california rolls Thursday for lunch before we headed out to YQ last week. The boys loved it. (Rowan was at school, and wouldn't have tried it anyway).
I also finally got a chance to use the sushi platter and chop sticks that my friend Kathryn sent me when she was in Japan doing the same thing as Julia and Ben. Thanx guys:)

Hey, so glad you got a chance to use the book. I tried making sushi the other day, and it fell apart. (it`s just easier to go out for it here, Ihad never had to make it before.)

Sometimes I look at Benny and he reminds me of Malachi... who looks like his Daddy.
Funny though, yes Malachi is cute in the boots... but, don't let him wear that style when he's older. I don't think that would look so cute. ha ha
