Quinten has been scared lately. He's been waking up at night, totally scared to go to the bathroom by himself, and when he can't wake Malachi up to come with him, he goes to Rowan. We've been talking about there being nothing to be afraid of here, but Q still wouldn't go to the back of the house by himself in the day. The other day, Tony got a brilliant idea. He went into the garage, and we could hear him sawing wood, and painting, and stuff. When he came inside, he presented Quin with a large wooden sword. He told Quin that this sword was only to be used to protect people and that it's name is Courage. He gave it to Quin to keep close to his bed and to take with him when he needs to go at night. So far Quin still wants someone to come with him in the day, but we haven't had any night time problems since.

Just wanted to say I love you all. Quin, I remember when I was your age. I was scared of crocodiles under my bed, and had to put a row of pillows to the door so I could go to the bathroom at night. But they never got me, and I think I eventually forgot they were there. You're gonna do great with Courage! Good luck packing!
