We just got back from a wonderful weekend away. We headed to Abbotsford Friday and ha d a whirl wind weekend. We attended the MB Convention in Chilliwack, where we heard great stories of what God is doing in our conference. We got to see both our sets of parents and most of our siblings on Sat. Sunday Tony Lead worship with Andy at his church, and we had the pleasure of attending the MB conference Pastors and Spouses retreat in Harrison Hot springs at the hotel. The speaker this year was Peter Scazzero and his wife Geri. They wrote "The Emotionally Healthy Church" and "The Emotionally Healthy Spirituality" We were very impacted by the sessions and will take what we have learned into the rest of our ministry. Tony and I heard Peter speak in Kelowna last year, and had recommended the first book to the ABC elders back then. We still believe that it would be a great process for any one to go through. The second book is for anyone, not just church leaders, but has the same principles plus additions.

Anyway, the weekend was especially great because we got to connect with other pastors and friends that we haven't seen in a while. I didn't take any pics of the weekend tho. Except for a few of the boys on the ferry coming home, but I can't find the camera right now, so I'll post them when I do.
