Update

So it's 2006. I say this every year, but I can't believe it's 2006! Our New Years eve was great. Our church has a tradition of booking Gardom lake Bible camp for the night, and families can go up there and party all night. We all bring food, and games, and we eat and play till 1 or 2 or 3 or stay up all night. It's great cause we can put the little ones to bed upstairs and not have to get baby sitters. Rowan stayed up till 1:30 am. I was amazed that he lasted that long. He wasn't even grumpy the next day, like the rest of us. I had great conversations with a bunch of great ladies. This year was special as well since Tony's parents, and sister and family were all up there with us. We were only missing Andy.

This first week of 2006 has been fine. The boys are glad to be back at school. I have more students for music lessons this year. Tony has tones of work to do at the church.

Malachi's birthday is coming up. I asked him today what kind of cake he wants for his party. He said syrup and cream. After talking about it more with him, Malachi and I have decided to do a pancake cake. Crepes piled up into a big stack will work. I asked what he wanted for his birthday. He listed things off for me "boots, snowpants, shoes, new eyes, new legs, new teeth..." I could hardly keep from bursting out laughing. I told him I thought his body parts worked pretty good still. He agreed. We'll have a few of his friends over, and Oma and Opa, in two weeks.

Hey guys, it's great to see the pictures on you blog, those kids of yours a growing like crazy. It's been a while since we have seen you last... but hopefully in the summer when Tiff comes out for her internship we get to see you for a bit... If you come down to Abby .... or even better we come up to Armstrong ( I wouldn't mind seeing more of Canada :))
