Happy New Year

We have had a great week. It was really busy but really good. The Elders took a two day retreat at a cabin about an hour from here. John Shmidt, from CBC came out to teach and encourage the men. They encountered the Holy Spirit together, and came home energized and hopefull for the future at ABC. John aslo spoke sunday morning, and God really used him and us in the worship band to connect to his people . We also met as a church family Sunday night in one of the elders homes, and we had a chance to talk about where the elders feel God is leading ABC and about getting past the stuff from last year. It's all about healing and forgivness, and trusting that God is in control of our lives (all of us). Isaiah 61 is our promise/calling/mission for the new year. The "Spirit of the Soveriegn Lord", and "The Adventure of Jesus" are my Songs for this year.
