So it's been a while since I blogged last. I'll bet every one has stopped coming cause I've been too busy to post...yeah never too busy to check facebook tho. Anyway. The past few weeks have been crazy busy, obviously. I spent this past week enjoying the free time that VBS offers to moms! It was Malachi's first time and he did great. The boys all got to sing and do crafts and hear stories, and preform thier songs for us at the program friday night. While they were occupied at VBS and Richard and Denny were at school, I did not relax!
I used the time to have a date with Tony on Tuesday, (monday we didn't make it cause we had got home at 1:00 am from Abb), Tony and I went downtown and window shopped and had coffee...yes I have a husband that likes to do this with me!
Wednesday I took Tony to the church at 5:00am and kissed him off to Creation (ask if you don't understand). I went to a great little shop in Black creek called Horse Feathers after dropping all the boys off, and took my time looking at all the consigned crafts and gift items, and making a few purchases. I then had a coffee all by my self. It was great. I went to a nursery and bought two trellises and a grapevine and picke up the boys.
Thursday I dropped in on my friend Ronda and we took Murray down to the beach for a walk. I then had coffee at her house and took home her extra deck umbrella. Yeah. Thanx Ronda, it looks great in my yard!
Friday I went for a walk with Murray and my friend Lonni out in the sticks by her house and had ice tea at her house. I then picked up the boys and went to Donna's house for lunch where the boys had a water fight with her 4 yr old son, and We then pick up Richard and Denny and then had pizza at our house with Lonni and her three sons and had a treasure hunt. Oh the Treasure hunt.
Ok So Tony, being the very thoughtful and creative person he is, spent the weekend that I was in Abb, planning a treasure hunt (and doing lots of other very busy things like taking an airbrakes course). He set up a five day treasure hunt for me and the kids that started with a note on the table and a box full of hershey's kisses and gummy bears (bear hugs) burried behind a tree at the back of our property. It also included another map for the next day, which took us to the basket ball hoop that Tony put up in the cultesac, and we found a box with water guns for a water fight, which we had after korean school. The clues in there brought us to a box above the pantry in the kitchen with a box full of beads and sting to make necklaces...Tony made one before he left and is wearing it right now at Creation. Richard and Denny left today for a 5 day trip with their school, so I had let the boys do the next clues to find todays treasure, yesterday. The clues brought us to the pile of dirt in our front yard, but we didn't find a treasure there! We tried to call Tony, but his phone must not be getting service. So there ended the treasure hunt. We'll have to wait for him in order to finish. The boys were all dissapointed that we didn't find the treasure. Richard and Denny were right in there, and Lonni's boys were too. All seven boys made necklaces and were wearing them all evening. Denny made one for a friend-girl at school. I suppose that's ok. He said she isn't his girls friend. a Friend-girl. OK!
So then last night was the program for VBS and we all went out and sat through it. There was icecream and cookies and fruit after, and we all had a blast.
I wish I would have kept the camera here istead of sending it with Tony. I could have taken a million pics this week. But no, I have none. He better have used the camera! It would be a waste if he hadn't even got it out!
Anyway, If you read all that and got to here I'm amazed. That was quite the ramble. Let me know that you got to the end!
Hope you had a great day!

I read to the end Rebekah! The treasure hunt sounded like great fun... lucky you with such a thoughtful husband!
Of course I got to the end. I've been thinking of you all week, assuming you'd had a rough time taking care of 5 boys alone. I should have known you'd do just fine. Sounds like you had great fun. Let us know how the treasure hunt ended.
I left a really long comment telling you how I read all of this, etc, etc... and then I lost it!! GRRRR!!!
Anyway, it was nice reading your post! You'll have to let us know what was at the end of the treasure hunt. I'm curious! You have a very creative husband:)
Hopefully sometime soon we can really catch up. Until then, I'll keep looking for you on facebook & on your blog!!
